Using a Google Fi sim rather than t mobile

I am trying to get my 5G hat to work with a Google Fi sim. I can get the modem working, albeit briefly, using the fast.t-mobile.com APN. I get it, it isn’t a t mobile sim.

But when I used Google fi’s h2g2, connectivity flashes for just an instant but then evaporates

Since Google fi sits exclusively on top of t mobile, is there any reason why it wouldn’t work?

And if it will, what additional settings do I need to make it work?

Hi,

Try setting the network manually to T-Mobile using the AT+COPS AT command. Sometimes, automatic network selection can cause issues.
