Unrecognized option 'dev/ttys0' in file /etc/ppp/peeers/provider

I followed the instruction on Setting up the PPP connection

Get an error “Unrecognized option ‘dev/ttys0’ in file /etc/ppp/peeers/provider” after reboot and issuing sudo pon command.

On the hardware, it is stacked on a Raspberry Pi 2 (is that too old for this?) via the GPIO pins. The USB pig tail connector is not plugged in. Power and Status indicator on the HAT are solid green. Network indicator is blinking blue.

Any help?

It should be /dev/ttyAMA0 for Raspberry Pi 2

Thanks so much for the quick reply. That did the magic!
