I have a project that uses a dual optical and thermal (FLIR Lepton 3) camera. Does the clear polycarbonate lid transmit thermal radiation?

Hi @davidbonn ,

No, it does not transmit thermal radiation. If the thermal camera is placed inside the enclosure, it only measures the temperature of the lid.

Thanks, that is a bummer. Any suggestions for a solution to that problem?

I know that sapphire and Z2S can transmit thermal radiation.
