Recommended way of retrieving position and obtaining GPS Antenna Signal Strength

Hi,

We have a 4G LTE Base hat with a EC25 AU Modem, and we have a python code that performs regular queries with the AT+QGPSLOC=1 command.

Is this the recommended way of obtaining locations? Or is NMEA preferred. Also, is there any AT command that allows the retrieval of the RRSI or signal strength from the modem itself?
