Raspberry Pi 4G/LTE hat connection issues

Hello,

I followed the “Getting started” steps for both hardware & software. I am using a raspberry pi 3B+. I copied the installation code to the Pi and successfully installed it. On the Sixfab Core site I can see my SIM is active, but the cell connection says “Cellular Connection Unavailable”. Currently, I can only connect via wi-fi. I have rebooted the Pi, with no success. Additionally, on the Core site, there’s no cellular interface (no wwan0 or usb0, only wlan0, which is my WiFi)

The modem is a Telit LE910C4-NF

Can anyone help me? Much appreciated.

Best,
Hans

Hi Hans,

Could you please enable the remote support and PM me your remote-support token so I can check and fix it?

Hi, did this get resolved? I’m experiencing similar problems…

I’ve installed Sixfab Core on my Pi 4 (32-bit Bullseye), with a Telit ME910C1-WW (Cellular IoT Kit (LTE-M)). Install completed successfully, my Pi connects to sixfab.com via WiFi but cellular is unavailable.

I’m getting the following:

Update:

I (think I) fixed the password and hostname errors by following steps here: dns - Temporary failure in name resolution - Raspberry Pi Stack Exchange and here https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/configuration.html#make-sudo-require-a-password

Now the GSM modem remains attached and Sixfab Core Manager and Agent appear to be running, but cellular is still unavailable at sixfab[dot]com…
