Raspberry Pi 4 Solar Power Monitoring Project

Hey guys, I’m quite interested in the Power Management & UPS Hat. But before I actually make the purchase, I’m trying to do some research first.

As the subject title clearly suggests, I’m trying to build a Raspberry Pi-based solar powering monitoring project.

From reading the documentation on your website regarding the hardware, it does allow up to 21V input from solar panels (I have a soon-to-arrive 18V, 100W solar panel). My question is, is there a way for me to monitor the voltage & current output of the solar panel in real-time through the HAT? Is there an API for that?

My goal is to be able to store that data into a local db like InfluxDB, which I can then later use for some visualisation project.

All of that is possible. I’m doing it in my project.
