Ppp0: error fetching interface information: Device not found

I’m attempting to create a ppp connection to a Raspberry Pi 4 with a Quectel EC25 EG25. I followed step from this post . After rebooting, the interface ppp0 is not found. Command AT+QCFG="usbnet" returns 1. After running AT+QCFG="usbnet",0, I get a result 0 for a few seconds, maybe a minute then, it goes back to 1. I did run AT+CFUN=1,1 after 10 seconds but the result is the same.

Sometimes after running AT+QCFG="usbnet",0 and AT+CFUN=1,1 the ppp0 interface shows up for a few seconds then, dissapears.

How can I connect to the device over PPP? Any pointers will be greatly appreaciated.
