(I have moved this - I put it into the wrong topic)

In general how compatible are Mini PCIe modules from different manufacturers? I have the Huawei module (below) which is from an old modem in which it worked fine. Could I use this instead of the Quectel modem I bought with the HAT? (I assume that the QMI interface is proprietary and therefore I’d have to use PPP.)
