How to install the qmi_wwan driver

Hi there,

I’m trying to connect 3G/4G&LTE Base HAT to Raspberry pi 4 [setup shown in the image below], but it seems that I’m missing the qmi_wwan driver, as it doesn’t appear in the output of the lsusb -t command.

The lsusb -t command outputs this:

/: Bus 02.Port 1: Dev 1, Class=root_hub, Driver=xhci_hcd/4p, 5000M /: Bus 01.Port 1: Dev 1, Class=root_hub, Driver=xhci_hcd/1p, 480M |__ Port 1: Dev 2, If 0, Class=Hub, Driver=hub/4p, 480M |__ Port 1: Dev 3, If 0, Class=Human Interface Device, Driver=usbhid, 12M |__ Port 1: Dev 3, If 1, Class=Human Interface Device, Driver=usbhid, 12M |__ Port 4: Dev 4, If 1, Class=Human Interface Device, Driver=usbhid, 12M |__ Port 4: Dev 4, If 0, Class=Human Interface Device, Driver=usbhid, 12M

I tried a clean OS install a number of times, but nothing seems to be changing. I would really appreciate it if anyone could show me how to install the driver step by step.

Thanks in advance

Hi @blynkgdp,

Please attach the mini PCIe module to the HAT.
