Cellular Connection Unavailable Telit LE910C4

My cellular connection will not come up. connect.sixfab.com says “Cellular Connection Unavailable”. I ran the installation code on the raspberry pi for sixfab core.

Telit LE910C4-NF

Firmware Version
M0F.660010

Hi @sfeldma ,

If you activate the remote support setting of your device and share the support key with me, I can help.
Could you please share your remote-support token so that I can check and solve it?

Hi @ensar, the connection is working now and ping to the outside world works. Thank you for fixing it. What did you find/fix? I’d like to know root-cause and the fix in case it happens again.

Hi @ensar,

I’m having the same issue as @sfeldma. Can you please share the root cause or at least the fix?

Thanks,
@colinmac61

Hi @ensar,

I was able to update the firmware for the module but still have the same issue.

LE910C4-NF_25.21.660_CUST_118_perf_TFI.exe

In the syslog this pattern keeps looping.,

I’ve run through the troubleshooting for the module and all is good.

Thanks,
@colinmac61

One correction,

I checked the TFI logs for the firmware update and it completed successfully but I was already running the same version as the update link provided on Sixfab.

TFI_356043111005666_220215_160737.log

[16:9:6] INFO: SerialDevClose - Close.
[16:9:6] INFO: ui_print - Update succeed.

So I’m running out of ideas, it doesn’t appear to be a hardware or firmware related. Could it actually be
with the carrier?

when the wwan0 interface is available:

pix@pixpi4:~ $ ping -I wwan0 -c 5 google.ca

Hi @colinmac61 ,

You have reached the monthly 100MB limit. If you update your ‘Monthly Limit’ from SIM details to ‘Unlimited’, the connection will be available. If your SIM has this limit and you reach 100MB Monthly usage, the cellular connection will not be available.
