Can't type in minicom, GPS stuck at 'Receiving GPS data'

I am unable to type anything in minicom, I can access the settings for minicom and input special keys but can’t type any commands. Also when I run GPS.py I get nothing it says ‘Connecting Port…’ and ‘Receiving GPS data’ and then does nothing.
I am using a Raspberry Pi 4 and the 3G/4G&LTE Base HAT along with the Quectel EC25-A.

Do you have your module busy with some other resource?

I am not sure. Since then I have waited a long time and I was able to type into minicom but randomly it will just not let me type anymore and I have to wait an extended period of time and then it will let me type again.

Is there some way to check if it is busy with some other resource?
