BG96: Can't register on Verizon's network, United States

I cannot register on verizon’s network. The AT+CGREG? command shows 0,2 (searching) and then finally 0, 3 (registration denied.) I was on the phone with Verizon for three hours yesterday but it would not register to Verizon’s network. This is not the first LTE HAT I’ve used and am at a loss why it’s not registering. Is it possible I was sent the non North America version?

Also, when I do AT+COPS=? in minicom, it hangs for a while, and then says “ERROR”. I’m at a loss and this is an urgent need. Please respond.
