Antenna for GPS

Hello,

I have the Raspberry Pi 4G/LTE Cellular Modem Kit. I managed to program it and I can retrieve the location data of my Pi.
However, as soon as I move around or I’m in a building or I put my antennas in a plastic box, I no longer receive the GPS signal.

Do you have any advice to make it work all the time without any problem?
Does this antenna (External Active GPS Antenna - 29dB - SMA Plug - Sixfab) allow better reception especially indoors?

I haven’t looked into this much, as I don’t need gps, however, my black gps antenna doesn’t work unless I’m near a window.

The product says you need a clear view of the sky, so perhaps this antenna isn’t the same kind in say, your phone, which work despite clear view of sky.

My LTE connections are good though.

Wish I had better insight.
