Is it possible to power the 5G hat, the corresponding modem, and the Raspberry underneath by supplying the power to the GPIO pins? The raspberry can be powered by GPIO pins alone.
Can the hat also be powered by GPIO?

No, the HAT cannot be powered from the GPIO pins hence needs a separate adapter.
