I am not available for consulting, but can answer some questions and give friendly advice.
Can you be more specific about what you are trying to do? I assume from context that you wish to use a Raspberry Pi or other SBC and one of the Sixfab modem kits to get the job done?
I have had very good luck using the python pexpect package and the old Unix cu program talking to these devices by sending AT-style commands and parsing the results, again with pexpect.
David, wonderful. Thanks for your generous offer. I just got done reading the docs, all day, now I’m beginning to understand, and it appears simpler. But it would be great to have access to guidance and conceptual explanation from someone who’s completed the journey and can offer a push start when I get stuck.
